Watch and Wager on the Preakness Stakes!
Saturday, May 17
Join us this Saturday for live racing and to watch and wager on the Preakness Stakes from Pimlico as Kentucky Derby winner Big Brown continues his quest for the Triple Crown.
First post time for our nine-race live program is 12:55. First post for the Preakness Day card at Pimlico is 10:30 a.m. Gates open at 10 a.m.
Advance wagering on the Preakness Stakes is available Friday.

We will be hosting a silent auction full of sports memorabilia from 2:30-5:30 p.m. to benefit CANTER New England. More information on CANTER can be found on our Thoroughbred Retirement page.
Auction items will be on display in two locations: the first floor of the Grandstand near the Deli-Grill and the second floor of the Clubhouse outside of Legends.
Be sure to visit the Fan Photo Experience located at the main Clubhouse entrance (weather permitting). Have your picture taken with an actual horse and jockey by a professional photographer. There is no charge to get your picture taken. Photos and other items that include your photo on it will be available for purchase online.
Family Fun Days!
Sundays and Holidays, May 26-September 1
From Memorial Day through Labor Day, all Sundays and holidays will be Family Fun Days at Suffolk Downs!
These fun-filled afternoons will feature a variety of entertainment and activities for families. Each Family Fun Day (excluding July 4 and September 1) will feature a balloon artist and facepainter.

Eddie Andelman's 19th Annual Hot Dog Safari
Sunday, June 1
9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
Join us for the 19th Annual Hot Dog Safari. Enjoy all the hot dogs, sausages and ice cream sundaes you can eat!
In addition to the food, fun and games, the day features a full racing program. Boston's Sports Station 1510 the Zone will be broadcasting live from the event throughout the day.
This year's Grand Marshals are New England Patriots running back Kevin Faulk and the Boston Herald's "Track Gals," Gayle Fee and Laura Raposa.
Tickets are $12 when purchased in advance, $15 at the door. Children six and under are admitted free.
All proceeds benefit the Joey Fund and the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation.

Summer Twilight Racing Fridays
Fridays, June through August
First post time: 3:00 p.m.
This summer, start your weekend early with twilight racing at Suffolk Downs!
For the months of June, July and August, first post time on Friday will be 3 p.m. (excluding July 4th - 12:45).
A special outdoor tent and patio bar area will feature live music each Friday during the twilight racing series.
Twilight racing begins June 6.
